Confederatie bouw

The former Confederatie Bouw Limburg (Embuild) had been looking for a new location for a long time and found it on the university's construction campus in Diepenbeek. A construction team was established where Archilogic (HVC Architects) assumed the role of coordinator and architect. The building was to become a showcase in which dozens of local contractors could join forces to achieve the final result. The building consists partly of offices on the top floor and otherwise functions as a training and event building. The building itself functions as a demonstration of its technical installations. The technical installation was not hidden in a technical room somewhere in the back but was given a prominent place behind glass in the entrance hall. During the construction phase, 3D photos were taken of the installed services at various locations throughout the building. In the finished building, QR codes can be found at these locations, allowing one to view the technical installations straight through ceilings and walls via a mobile phone.
